FAQ

Common questions

Short answers on what we do, how the work is priced and what the results can support.

What does Gossan do?

We take the geological data an early-stage mineral project already has, bring it into one validated database, analyse and model it in 3D, and present the result so that it supports a decision: where to drill next, what the ground could hold, and how to show it.

How is the work priced?

Per piece of work, scoped around your question before it starts. There are no software licences, annual seats or subscriptions.

What data do we need to have?

Whatever you have: drillholes, geophysics, geochemistry, mapping or public records, raw or processed. If you have only public data so far, the work can start from that.

Do we need to install any software?

No. Maps and 3D models open in a web browser, and documents are delivered as PDF, so everyone involved in the project can open them.

Are the tonnage and grade figures resource estimates?

No. They are conceptual ranges for decision support, not mineral resource estimates under NI 43-101 or JORC. Public disclosure requires a qualified person's sign-off.

Where do you work?

Remotely, with exploration teams in Latin America and Europe.

Have data and a decision to make?

Tell us what you have and what you need to decide. We will say what your data can support, and what it cannot, before any work starts.
